Screw machine is a kind of common automation equipment, which is widely used by manufacturers for electronic 3C, household appliances, auto parts, and lighting fixtures. Although VIA Automation generally provides corresponding training after the manufacturer purchases it, some people will ask how to use it and how to debug it later. The following debugging methods are explained based on VIA screw machines, but general automatic screw machines are also applicable.

The feeder is arranged in the screw machine for screw arrangement and distribution. Before the machine is put into work, we need to prepare the position of the feeder to facilitate the screwdriver to pick up the screws. First click the position of the feeder on the operation screen, move the Z axis directly above the feeder turntable through the operation handle, and align the screw hole in the middle of the sensor on the turntable (the feeder will sense the screw, the turntable will stop Movement, the screwdriver in this position will be sucked away from the top), so that the nozzle is kept at a distance of 2-3 mm from this screw. Tighten the fixing block around the feeder to prevent misalignment. At the same time, click Set on the screen to set the new position, so we will set the position of the feeder. You can click the "Go to original position" setting on this page to see if it is actually above the previously set position to determine whether it is adjusted correctly.
Generally, in order to make it easier for people to operate, the screw machine will use coordinate programming. The VIA WS-T4-B automatic screw machine, which we have demonstrated, uses this programming method. When writing a program, we need to first click File Management on the operation screen → click New, set the corresponding program name → click Add, and we can start writing the program. First click on the tightening 1, clamping 2 on this page, at this time the cylinder will fix the product. After moving the Z axis above the screw hole position, keep the suction nozzle and the product at a distance of 2-3 mm. At this time, you can tighten the Z axis fixing screw (the two screws are below the Z axis). Then lift the L-clamp, let the batch of rods go into the screw holes, and then press to add, so that one point is set, and so are the other holes.
